Mario Basquez

Mario Basquez overcame extreme poverty to become a highly successful TV journalist, currently co-anchoring CBS' News This Morning in NYC. Previously, he was an anchor or co-anchor of several major news programs in New York. Basquez has won numerous awards for his TV work, and is also an award-winning playwright as well as a novelist and stand-up comedian. His most recent book is the autobiographical The Chalupa Rules.
