Peter Gabel, JD, PhD, is president emeritus of New College of California and director of of New College's Institute of Spirituality and Politics. He is co-creator the politics of meaning movement and associate editor of Tikkun magazine. He is also the author of the book "The Bank Teller and other Essays on the Politics of Meaning."
