Bryan Rennie, PhD, a leading expert on Mircea Eliade, is the author of Reconstructing Eliade: Making Sense of Religion, Changing Religious Worlds: The Meaning and End of Mircea Eliade, and Mircea Eliade: A Critical Reader. He has also contributed entries on Eliade to many encyclopedias and dictionaries, including the second edition of the Macmillan Encyclopedia of Religion (originally edited by Eliade himself).
