Horace Clarence Boyer PhD

Horace Clarence Boyer, PhD, is Professor Emeritus of Music Theory and African-American Music at the University of Massachusetts. He is a former Guest Curator of Musical History at the Smithsonian, was Distinguished Scholar-At-Large at Fisk University and is the author of several books including How Sweet the Sound: The Golden Age of Gospel.
