Many people have a desire to paint abstractly but don’t know how to go about it. This class lays the groundwork with practical exercises designed to help us use realism to get to abstraction. In a relaxed and experimental atmosphere, each week we’ll begin our exploration with either an abstracted still life, doodles and repeated gestures, accidental blots, dots and drips, color or collaboration.
