Teva Durham
By her own admission, Teva Durham used to be a "knit snob." No longer. Now, the influential needlecraft guru has become a "two-timer" bringing the same ingenuity, innovative eye and solid fashion sense that she's always exhibited in her knitting design to the increasingly popular world of crochet. "Crochet is a freeing experience" Durham says. In this class she'll teach some of her unique methods, including a simple way to achieve the look of traditional Irish crochet, and how to: create several motifs and variations of mesh such as picot and Solomon's knot; follow crochet stitch diagrams and patterns; and improvise to create personalized designs. Each student will pick and complete one project: a hat, shawl or skirt. This class is for beginners and advanced crocheters alike. [More] |
