Four Paths to Wholeness Print
Friday, June 15 2007, 7:00pm - 10:00pm

Evan Pritchard

**PLEASE NOTE THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELED**

The original, native people of Manhattan were part of a great Algonquin civilization, known for its wisdom teachings and belief in “Manitou,” or “Great Spirit,” and this culture’s worldview and philosophy can still be profoundly relevant to contemporary New Yorkers. This evening Evan Pritchard will identify four basic Algonquin spiritual paths and explain how we can draw strength and wisdom from these approaches to life. They include the path of the shamans (self-empowerment through visions and inner journeys); the way of the heron (learning to resolve conflicts through the power of our truth); the way of the heart (learning to surrender to the power of the Creator); and the way of the ethical warrior (becoming physically self-reliant).
