“Detox” often conjures up visions of restricted diets and discomfort, but this does not have to be the case. In this workshop, we will learn a different, gentler approach using yogic practices. We will begin by looking at the areas of our bodies that hold tension and congestion and learn yoga postures designed to open the body and flush out unwanted stagnation. We’ll also pay close attention to our minds, as our thoughts and emotions can also create toxicity in the body. By combining yoga, meditation, awareness practices and conversation between our body and our mind, we can begin a process of deep cleansing and renewal.
