Kundalini yoga is both an art and a technology which addresses the physical, mental and spiritual well-being of the practitioner. The Sanskrit word kundal means “coiled up,” like a spring or a lock of hair, implying the latent power or untapped potential within each and every human being. In this ongoing series of classes, we will experience the transformative power of kundalini kriyas. These kriyas, including a combination of breath, postures, movement, mantra and meditation, will focus on healing the nerves and glands, stimulating the chakras, opening up the flow of energy through the organs and meridians, and exploring the relationship between our emotions and our physical health. From these classes, you will begin to gain a greater understanding of yourself and your fullest potential. [More]
