Memories, emotions, and experiences are stored in the tissues of the body, written onto the nervous system, and encoded in our mental and emotional bodies. Over time, this storage can lead to the formation of neuro-emotional patterns- known in yogic terms as samskaras- that limit our vitality, joy, and creative potential. Traditional methods of healing such as psychotherapy have long been aware of the tremendous gap between personal insight and change.
