New Strategies for Preventing and Reversing Heart Disease Print
Friday, April 04 2008, 7:00pm - 10:00pm

Stephen T. Sinatra, MD, FACC, FACN, CNS, CBT

The essential cause of all diseases, especially cardiovascular disease, is poor nutrition and the negative impact of toxic environments and emotions. Toxins from pesticides, drugs, strenuous exercise and trans-fatty acids cause an enormous drain on our body’s defenses. Age-related plaque buildup in coronary arteries, resulting from chronic inflammation, is one of the biggest challenges for physicians today. In this workshop, we will explore alternative approaches in the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease—in particular, reversing and stabilizing coronary artery plaque, considered the “Holy Grail” of cardiology.
