In this two-weekend course, open to both novices and those with prior aromatherapy knowledge, we will cover a broad range of subjects, including: the botany and historical context of aromatherapy, how essential oils are extracted, how to give an aromatherapy consultation and the neuroscience of scent. We will explore application methods, safety and aromatherapy for first aid, and the use of oils to address specific conditions. Each day participants will make at least three aromatherapy blends to take home.
