Robert Micha'el Esformes

Based on the work of Rabbi Zalman Schachter-Shalomi, grandfather of Jewish Renewal, this workshop immerses us in the Jewish mystical tradition, including some of its key practices that help us incorporate deep spiritual self-cultivation into our daily lives. We will explore ancient wisdom teachings, including the "four worlds," the levels of soul, the rungs of development (joy, discipline, beauty, community, unification), tikkunim in the cycles of time, seasons of the Sabbath day, and the S'phirot of the Tree of Life. We will also learn sacred morning and bedtime prayers, breathing practices on the Holy Name, and other methods of entering the Holy Silence.

Saturday, May 5, 2–5:30pm
12WSJ26M
