Amelia Kinkade

This weekend, join world-renowned animal communicator Amelia Kinkade to obtain deep insights about what animals really think, feel and need. She will teach us how to access our innate intuitive senses to communicate with other species and show us that telepathy is a learned skill, available to everyone. We will explore and develop a wide range of intuitive abilities including: clairvoyance, the ability to exchange mental pictures with animals; clairsentience, the sending and receiving of emotions; clairaudience, the auditory reception of telepathic information; “x-ray vision,” a way to use our body as an instrument to diagnose animals’ conditions; and “remote viewing,” the ability to connect to distant animals using nothing but a photograph. Whether you’re a veterinarian or just someone who shares your home with a four-legged loved one, this course will help you develop a strong rapport and better understanding of the animals you love.

This full-day workshop will cover bodywork techniques that work well with dogs and other therapeutic tools, such as special exercises for canines and bodywraps (soft elastic bandages, which can calm dogs, deepen their breath, and help them walk in balance). These methods help dogs discover self-control and self-confidence, and allow them to experience more appropriate options for behavior in challenging situations.

Note: The facility is not appropriate for highly reactive dogs. If you wonder whether your dog should come, please contact the registration department, which will put you in touch with Edie Jane.   For the three workshops in Tellington TTouch, participants may choose to bring a pet, or a stuffed toy animal can be used for much of the practice work.

In these workshops, one with cats, the other with dogs, we will learn Tellington TTouch’s basic bodywork, movement and handling techniques. We will pay attention to the subtleties of our pet’s language, and acknowledge/respond supportively when we see signs of distress. Such evidence that we do listen to them increases their trust in us greatly, raising their level of confidence, self-control, and ability to learn. We will discover how to identify and change tension patterns that predispose them to characteristic physical or emotional responses. We will gain easy-to-use skills to promote good health and resolve problems such as fear of the vet, bathing/thunder, chewing/jumping up, leash pulling, resistance to grooming, and obedience issues, and learn about recovery from illness or surgery and methods for graceful aging.

2/24: An Introduction to Tellington Ttouch

Marta Williams

Marta Williams, a former wildlife biologist and a pioneer of animal communication, believes other species are as intelligent, emotionally complex, and spiritually evolved as we are, and that humans have the latent capacity to communicate with them. This weekend she will show us how to begin awakening and developing that ability. Working in class with exotic rescues from a NY veterinary hospital and long distance with our own animals at home (using pictures and descriptions), we will learn verifiable techniques that allow us to: assist animals in crisis; uncover an animal’s past; reassure frightened or resistant animals; and discover an animal’s purpose in our lives. These methods can be of major help in resolving behavioral issues and improving our overall relationships with our animal companions.

Note: Bring photos of your animals. Well-behaved animals welcome.
