HOW DO I REGISTER FOR OPEN CENTER CLASSES?

ACCEPTABLE PAYMENT FORMS: For payments made in advance or at the Open Center, we accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express, checks with ID, and cash. Checks should be made out to "New York Open Center." Payments at the door for events held at other locations than the Open Center must be made with cash or check.
Please register as early as possible. There is limited enrollment for all classes.
WHAT IS THE "REGISTRATION FEE" ?
Whether one registers by any means (via internet, by mail, by phone, in person), there will be a non-refundable $10 REGISTRATION FEE per person, only required once per catalog.
The payment of the $10 registration fee is required BEFORE registering for FULL DAY WORKSHOPS & ONGOING CLASSES. The fee is only required once per catalog for non-members and waived for Open Center members.
WHAT IF I'M A NEW YORK OPEN CENTER MEMBER, DO I GET THE MEMBER'S FEE WHEN I REGISTER ONLINE?
Yes, you do get the member's fee.

Please know that the member's price will not show up until the last page.

IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I SHOULD KNOW ABOUT PAYMENTS?
FULL WORKSHOPS AND ONGOING CLASSES A minimum of 50% payment toward the class fee, and the full registration fee must be paid in order to reserve a space. Full payment is required before the first session SINGLE EVENING EVENTS, HALF-DAY & MINI-WORKSHOPS Full payment is required at the time of registration. There is no additional registration fee.
LONG-TERM PROGRAMS Special payment plans are available for long-term programs. There is no registration fee.
WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?
SINGLE EVENING EVENTS, SERIES, HALF-DAY & MINI-WORKSHOPS, WALKING TOURS, SINGLE EVENT WEBINARS, OR O'CASTSTM RECORDINGS
There are no refunds or course credits.
FULL WORKSHOPS, ONGOING COURSES AND WEBINARS, REIKI TRAININGS, AND ONLINE COURSES
Refunds are available minus a handling fee* if you cancel up to two weeks prior to the first day of the program. Course Credits are available minus a handling fee* if you cancel up to 48 hours prior to the first day of the program. Course Credit is valid for one year, and may be applied to courses or memberships only. Please note: Course Credits can not be applied to Wellness Department Trainings.
*HANDLING FEE $15 for programs costing up to $250 and $35 for programs costing $250 and up. No refunds or credits will be given if you cancel less than 48 hours prior to the first day of a program, or if you do not attend a program.
LONG-TERM PROGRAMS AND CONFERENCES
These refund policies do not apply to Long-Term Programs or conferences. If you start a Long-Term Program and decide not to continue, no credit or refund will be given. If you begin a payment plan, and choose not to continue, you must notify the Registration Department in writing, and pay for all classes attended.
WHAT ABOUT CLASS CANCELLATIONS?
The New York Open Center reserves the right to cancel any program due to insufficient enrollment. Registrants will be notified by phone at least 24 hours prior to the event. A full refund will be issued via the credit card originally charged, or by check in the case of a cash or check payment.
